Solar Recharging Steps:

  • Step 1. Connect the first panel - find the "DC interface" on the back of SolarSaga 100 and plug it in solar power cable
  • Step 2. Connect the second panel - follow step 1
  • Step 3. Connect the solar panels and the solar power cable with the Explorer 1500's DC input

FAQs

What devices can Explorer 1500 power? 

Please note that the AC output port can only charge/power devices that operate at less than total 1800 Watt. Once exceeding, the Explorer 1500 will shut off automatically. Please refer to your device specification before purchase..

How to know the working times for my device?

Working time = 1488Wh* 0.85 / operating wattage of your device

For reference, assuming power consumption of your device is 60W (might be a box fan), working time will be 1488Wh*0.85/60w=21.1hrs (rough calculated) .

Please note: actual power consumption varies from different usages, please consult Jackery for better purchase decision.


Can the Explorer 1500 be recharged while charging other devices/tools the same time?

You can use the Explorer 1500 to charge other things, while it's being recharged at the same time. However, it is scientifically NOT recommended because it will decrease the battery life cycle.

Can the Explorer 1500 can be used as UPS?

No, the E1500 can't be used as UPS, need to press the power button to turn on the AC/USB /DC output, so it can't turn on and off automatically.

Does the Explorer 1500 include a built in MPPT controller?

Yes, the Explorer 1000 Pro has an internal MPPT controller.

How do I know the Explorer 1500 is charged?

To check the charge level of the Explorer 1500, refer to the LCD Battery Display.

After the Explorer 1500 being fully charged, can I keep it plugged in to continue charging, in the case of power outage?

Yes, you can keep it plugged in to continue charging. It won't cause any battery damage.

Can I use it indoors?

Yes, the Explorer 1500 is safe to use indoors.

Why it takes so long to charge the power station from 99% to 100%?

When the power station is charged at a low power (constant current stage), the charging power is the largest. With the increase of the power, the internal battery pack voltage of the energy storage gradually increases to the charging limit voltage and then enters the constant current stage (the charging power gradually decreases to full). In the later stage of charging, the charging power gradually decreases. Please kindly take a long time to charge to 100%.

Are the output ports regulated, and if so, which ones are regulated?

All output ports of Jackery power stations are regulated. The voltage won't change when the battery power decreases.

Can the battery inside be replaceable?

No, the batteries inside of Jackery power station can't be replaceable.

Is the Explorer 1500 power station waterproof?

No, the Explorer 1500 is not waterproof. Please do not store them in humid environment for longtime.

Can the Explorer 1500 be charged while using?

Yes, you can use the Explorer 1500 to charge devices, while it's being re-charged at the same time

Warranty & Return 

Limited Warranty

Jackery Inc. warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the Jackery product will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal consumer use during the applicable warranty period identified in the 'Warranty Period' section below, subject to the exclusions set forth below.

This warranty statement sets forth Jackery's total and exclusive warranty obligation. We will not assume, nor authorize any person to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sale of our products.

Warranty Period

The warranty period for Jackery products is 24 months. In each case, the warranty period is measured starting on the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser. The sales receipt from the first consumer purchase, or other reasonable documentary proof, is required in order to establish the start date of the warranty period.

Exchange

Jackery will replace (at Jackery's expense) any Jackery product that fails to operate during the applicable warranty period due to defect in workmanship or material. A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product.

Limited to Original Consumer Buyer

The warranty on Jackery's product is limited to the original consumer purchaser and is not transferable to any subsequent owner.

 Exclusions

Jackery's warranty does not apply to:

  • Misused, abused, modified, damaged by accident, or used for anything other than normal consumer use as authorized in Jackery's current product literature.
  • Attempted repair by anyone other than an authorized facility
  • Any product purchased through an online auction house.

Refund

We are confident that you will love your new Jackery product. However, if you are unsatisfied for any reason, simply let us know within 30 days. Once we receive the product and confirm the validity, we will refund the full purchase price.

In order to return your product under the 30-day return policy, please check that:

You begin the return process within 30 days from the original shipment date. The product is returned in the original packaging, with all materials included, in new or as-new condition, and be accompanied with a return authorization number.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. If payment was made by credit card, once we receive the product we will credit your account. Please allow 7-10 business days for a credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. How to Return an Item

To return an item you'll need to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Jackery will not accept returns without prior authorization and an RMA number. You can get an RMA form by contacting us via telephone or email for assistance.

Process for Returning Produce

1. Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number:

All returns must have an RMA number for processing. Contact support@smartnaturestore.com for assistance.

2. Write the RMA number on the shipping label on the outside of the package.

RMA numbers should be clearly displayed on the return shipping label of any package being returned to Jackery. Do not write the RMA number on the actual box. Packages without an RMA number on the return shipping label may not be accepted by our warehouse.

Free shipping for all orders in the contiguous U.S. Currently, we only ship orders to the contiguous U.S.

Products shipped via free shipping service are normally delivered within 3-5 business days after placing the order.

Shipping Orders

Orders will be shipped within 3-5 business days after processing payment. The estimated delivery date may be delayed due to some unexpected events. Order(s) of various products may be delivered in separate shipments. All purchases through Jackery.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon tender of the item to the carrier.

Order Cancellation

We accept order cancellation before the product is shipped or produced. If the order is canceled you will get full refund. We cannot cancel the order if the product is already shipped out.

Delivery Address

A correct and complete delivery address is essential. Currently, we only ship orders to the USA (The states of Hawaii and Alaska are excluded due to the inability of our shipping couriers).

Once your order has been prepared for shipment or has shipped, we are unable to change the shipping address. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you (the customer), we will contact you immediately for a correction, and the package will be re-shipped at an additional shipping fee. You must include a daytime telephone number for all orders.
