True North Exceptional Barrel Saunas
True North Barrel Saunas are designed specifically for outdoor environments with various lengths available. Our saunas come with an optional 1' porch and feature a fully round shape. Inspired by the traditional Finnish sauna, they generate a hot and dry atmosphere which encourages general perspiration and effective deep skin cleansing.
To heat your Barrel Sauna, you can choose from various heaters, including the highly appreciated Finnish Harvia heaters.

The main difference between the True North Schooner Outdoor Sauna and the Barrel Outdoor Sauna is that the Schooner model has a flat bottom. This can make the entrance more comfortable as the step is less high.
Note: While no saunas are 100% waterproof, certain measures can be taken to enhance their resistance to water. These steps include the application of two coats of semi-transparent deck stain, as well as applying silicone where the exterior walls intersect with the staves. These efforts can significantly improve your sauna’s ability to repel water.
